DICKENS ESTATE (OLIVER, WELLER & PICKWICK HOUSES)
Client- The London Borough of Southwark
Contractor- A&E Elkins
The clients requirement was to undertake a replacement roofing installation as close as practicable to the existing original tiling in this prominent estate. The works were carried out by Elkins as part of a larger external envelope and ‘decent homes’ contract. Deciding upon the correct tile to meet the clients specification requirements involved several meetings with the Client and the local Planning Authorities, however all stakeholders have expressed satisfaction with the finished roofs.
The works were completed on schedule and within budget and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
