The clients requirement was for a system that would maintain the historic appearance of the building ( 16^th C farmhouse, satisfy the building conservation team and provide a quality roofing solution for the future protection of the building . 

Existing tiles were stripped and carefully preserved, the roofs were fitted with modern felt and batten, decayed timbers were replaced with like for like replacements and the original tiles were reinstated with replacements where required. All mortar was renewed in lime mortar and lead flashings and secret valleys  fitted where required.
